Ferran Prat has over 30 years of experience in the Life Sciences industry, mainly from the In Vitro Diagnostics and Pharmaceutical sectors.

Ferran has served as Corporate Vice President of Marketing, Strategic Alliances and Business Development as well as Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Operating Officer in several companies such as LETI Pharma and previously at DAKO (an Agilent Technologies Company) where he had responsibility across the whole value chain mainly in headquarters but also for the EMEAI, Americas and Asia-Pacific regions where he had been based.

During this professional journey, he has successfully led several merges, acquisitions, and business divestments.

He is a Board Member of AMADIX, a Precision Medicine start-up in the oncology diagnostics sector, and is a regular advisor and independent consultant to various Venture Capital firms and startups where he has contributed to fund raising efforts, strategic planning, business case development and investor exit processes.

In late 2014, Ferran was elected as president of FENIN, the Spanish Federation of Health Technology Companies, an industrial federation that integrates all the companies active in the in vitro diagnostics sector in Spain, amongst other sectors. Ferran was active in that role for a period of three years.

He is an active Business Angel in the Healthcare sector

Ferran Prat holds a B.Sc. in Pharmacy from the University of Barcelona and a Master in Marketing Management from EADA (Barcelona).
