Lasse Richter Petersen joined Ventac Partners in December 2021. Lasse has more than 30 years of commercial leadership experience from international Pharma industry. At Lilly he served as Managing Director Norway as well as in European Marketing roles within Osteoporosis and Oncology. Later at Sanofi he was General Manager for Nordic & Baltic Region, Head of Central & Eastern Europe DCV and latest VP Head of Global Commercial Excellence for Sanofi’s General Medicine Division.Lasse has extensive experience in pharmaceutical business and product launches both at country and global level, particularly within CNS, Diabetes and Oncology. He has built and led international, transversal and culturally diverse teams to drive strong business results. At Sanofi he was directly in charge of multifunctional teams up to 450 people with full P&L responsibility and turnover of 250M€. Later as part of the Global Leadership Team for Sanofi General Medicines he was running the Global Commercial Excellence function in a 15B€ business.Lasse was a member of the board of the Danish Pharmaceutical Industry Association Lif, the Norwegian Pharmaceutical Industry Association LMI as well as DLI, a private company owned by Lif. Today he is an independent Advisor and Consultant focusing on Life Sciences.Lasse is a Danish Citizen. He has been based in Norway, Italy and France but now located in Copenhagen, Denmark. He holds a MsC in Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School, CBS. In addition, he completed the Executive Board Program at Scandinavian Executive Institute and INSEAD.
